Are you sharing the Good News?

Throughout Scripture, we are called to spread the good news, share God’s love and His word with everyone and make disciples of all the nations.

I don’t know about you, but I am not doing a great job with this! It can feel intimidating, confusing and even frustrating at times. I realize these are terrible excuses and really don’t let me off the hook for not doing what God has called me to do.

I have been praying about it and God revealed several things to me:

  1. I tend to make it way harder than it needs to be. Sharing His love is simple, not complicated.
  2. I have everything I need to do what He has called me to do.
  3. I need to trust Him to do what only He can do.

God recently gave me a wonderful idea to better equip us for this purpose! I call them Seeds of Love. There are 10 unique art cards in each seed packet. They are beautifully designed on the front with a Truth about His love and on the back there is space for you to write a message if you want.

you are wonderfully made

These seeds are meant to be scattered to all the people in your circle, anyone you come in contact with. Here are a couple of ideas I came up with:

  • On the table at a restaurant along with a respectable tip (sad fact: Christian’s are “known” in the restaurant business to be bad tippers)
  • A note of encouragement to the person who bags your groceries
  • A thank you to the teller at the bank
  • A surprise bookmark in a book at the library or book store

sharing gods love

How are you doing with spreading God’s Word to a world that needs to hear it? Leave a comment and tell me how you are doing with your calling and/or where would you spread these seeds?

My shop is closed. These are no longer available, I encourage you to make your own! They don’t need to be fancy to get the job done.
